Asset Management Overview

Asset Management provides the ability to track all the non-perishable items (fixed assets) owned by your municipality that you want to account for. The Asset Management module is a complete asset maintenance system with depreciation schedules, classifications and real-time interaction that provides users the ability to enter and maintain asset methods used by your municipality.

It maintains an organization-wide inventory of all assets and has full integration with the General Ledger (Chart of Accounts) application, automatically posting data to the appropriate account. Asset Management also tracks non-capital items that take advantage of the full asset tracking and reporting features. All attributes and functions that describe an asset are shared with controlled assets to track important items.
